Avenir closes EUR60m mezzanine fund

Avenir Entreprises Gestion, a subsidiary corporation of CDC Entreprises, OSEO and Banque Europeene d'investissement, has announced the closing of Avenir Entreprises Mezzanine - a new EUR60m fund. All parent companies invested an equal EUR20m share.

CDC Entreprises, OSEO and Banque Europeene d'investissement each invested EUR20m in the new fund.
Investments
The fund is aimed at developing mainly small, but also mid-sized French businesses with a turnover of less than EUR50m. Investments will be in the form of the issuing of convertible bonds of between EUR50,000-300,000 for periods of eight years.

Claude Sauvageot is the fund manager at Avenir Entreprises Mezzanine. Jacques Solleau, Jean-Louis Etchegoyhen and Serge Mesguich from Avenir Entreprises Gestion are investment directors at Avenir.
