EPF Partners has supported the owner buyout of Data Concept Informatique, in return for a 38% stake. The private equity firm sourced the deal through corporate finance boutique Financière Cambon. Banque Populaire Rives de Paris underwrote a strip of amortising debt representing less than 40% of the transaction’s total value. Both a trade sale and a subsequent buyout are considered possible exit routes at this stage.

Company

Ulis-headquartered Data Concept Informatique provides an integral services relating to IT infrastructure, including consultancy, installation and maintenance of IT systems for companies in the Paris region. The business has seen its turnover increase by an average of 25% a year over the past four years, to reach €15m in the year to 31 May 2006, with significant profits. The company hopes to grow to €40-50m in revenues in a few years, by developing both organically, and by acquiring competitors with turnovers of less than €5m, in order to complete geographical coverage.
