I-Source Gestion closes EUR60m fund I-Source 3
Fund
I-Source Gestion has closed a new EUR60m fund I-Source 3. The funds will be used to continue I-Source Gestion's early-stage venture investments in information and communication technology companies in Western Europe. I-Source Gestion plans to invest a maximum of EUR6m per venture. Proskauer Rose provided legal advice.
Investors
Investors in the new fund were CDC Enterprises for EUR30m, Alcatel-Lucent EUR10m, Inria-Transfert EUR5.2m, Natixis' fund-of-funds Dahlia Partners EUR5m, GIMV EUR5m, Macif Mutavie EUR4m, Groupement des Ecoles des Telecommunications (GET) EUR500,000, and the management who also invested EUR500,000. I-Source Gestion will seek to use I-Source 3 to lead or co-lead investments in software, multimedia, telecom, embedded systems and associated services ventures as well as use the fund to support initial investments in subsequent rounds.
