Atlantis Participations (France) - Nov 2007

CIC Banque de Vizille has invested €4m of growth capital in swimming pools and accessories maker Atlantis Participations, in return for a minority interest in the business. The deal was sourced through CIC Lyonnaise de Banque’s banking network. An IPO is considered the favoured exit route.

Founded in 1981 and based in Montagny, Atlantis Participations designs, produces and distributes swimming pools, tiles, water treatment products and other related goods. The firm will aim to grow both organically, by offering new products and by opening new retail points, notably in Spain and Italy, and through acquisitions of manufacturers of complimentary products. The business generated sales of €72m 2007, and hopes to reach €100m within four years.
