Siparex appoints new managing partner
French GP Siparex has hired Jérôme Burtin as managing partner in its Lyon-based mid-market team.
Burtin started his career at Coopers & Lybrand Corporate Recovery France, where he completed a 15-year stint including nine years as senior manager and then partner.
Burtin then joined supply chain management business Norbert Dentressangle in 1998. He was first appointed as corporate executive in charge of M&A activities, then managing director of a business unit. He spent his last 10 years at the company as development sales and marketing director of the transport division.
Siparex held a final close for its MidMarket III vehicle on €200m, exceeding its €150m target, in February this year. The GP had launched the vehicle in June 2012, days after closing its MidCap II vehicle on €130m.
