Sidetrade (France) - Jan 2008

Seventure Partners took a 10% stake in Alternext-listed software firm Sidetrade. In 2007 Sidetrade recorded a €7.34m turnover, a 34% increase on the previous year. The company has expected growth of 22% between 2007 and 2011.

Company

Sidetrade is based in Boulogne-Billancourt and was founded in 2000. The firm specialises in B2B financial management software packages through its brand name Sidetrade Network. In a pre-IPO round of funding in 2005 XAnge Priavte Equity, LC Capital and CMC-CIC Capital Privé invested €5m in the company for around 16.5%. Sidetrade employs around 90 people.

Oliver Novasque is the CEO of Sidetrade. Marion Aubry worked on the deal on behalf of Seventure.
