Sofinnova Partners exits BlueKiwi
Sofinnova Partners has sold its entire stake in social networking software editor BlueKiwi to IT services firm Atos SA Group.
The deal value remains undisclosed but is believed to be significantly less than €20m.
The acquisition of BlueKiwi expands Atos's service offering in the IT sector.
Previous funding
Sofinnova invested €4m in BlueKiwi in 2007. In 2009, the private equity firm injected a further €1.7m in the company as part of a €4.7m series-B funding round led by Dassault Sytèmes, a global 3D and PLM solutions company.

Founded in 2006 and based in Paris, BlueKiwi is a cloud-computing social network software editor focused on communication in the work place. The company released a software in 2009 that aims to facilitate employee communication and boost ideas, skills and resources. The firm counts BNP Paribas and SFR among its 100 clients. In 2011, BlueKiwi reported a €5m turnover.

Olivier Sichel and Nicolas Autret led the deal for Sofinnova. Carlos Diaz and Christophe Routhieau are founders of BlueKiwi.
