Amundi et al. invest €1.3m in Envie de Fraises
Amundi Private Equity Funds, Generis Capital Partners and Calao Finance have injected €1.3m into Envie de Fraises, a French online clothing store for pregnant women.
The deal was completed at the end of July. The fresh cash injection will contribute towards Envie de Fraises' current internationalisation plans.
Previous funding
In 2011, Amundi backed Envie de Fraises, acquiring a minority stake in the business. The firm is believed to have invested €1.4m in the company.
Company
Founded in 2006, Envie de Fraises is part of the Digital Fashion Group and is based in Paris. The company employs 26 staff and expects to generate revenues of €6m in 2013.
Envie de Fraises is an online clothing store for pregnant women and claims its clothing has been worn by "hundreds of thousands of pregnant women" since its launch. The company also claims to hold the largest collection of maternity-wear in Europe.

Anne-Laure Constanza is the founder of Envie de Fraises. Amundi's Claire Chabrier led the deal for the firm. Managing director and co-founder Rodolphe Herbelin, as well as investment analyst Loïc Bourdy, represented Calao on the deal. Thibaut de Roux is a managing partner at Generis and led the deal for the firm alongisde Edouard Daudier.
