
BlackFin Capital Partners acquires MisterAssur
BlackFin Capital Partners has wholly acquired French insurance aggregator MisterAssur.
This is BlackFin's second investment in the insurance industry within the last four months. In April 2012, the fund acquired Italian insurance aggregator Chiarezza. The transaction was sourced via BlackFin's contacts in the insurance aggregator industry.
Following the acquisition, BlackFin will support MisterAssur's marketing effort and its partnership with insurers.
BlackFin's fund focuses exclusively on investments in the financial services sector and closed on €220m in July 2011.

MisterAssur is a French online portal where consumers can compare insurance products. These range from car and motorbike insurance to pet insurance. Besides the comparison service, MisterAssur also provides a subscription service over the phone.
