
Axa Private Equity exits Arkadin
NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) has agreed to acquire a stake of up to 91.2% in Axa Private Equity-backed collaboration service provider Arkadin International.
Arkadin's management will reinvest alongside telecom operator NTT Com. Arkadin's services are said to be complementing NTT Com's offering in both global conferencing services and total solutions.
The agreement will be implemented after the necessary notification and consultation with the relevant works council, and is subject to authorisation from antitrust authorities.
Axa PE bought a 45% stake in Arkadin in July 2012. Since then, the company has experienced double-digit revenue growth. Arkadin acquired video conference specialist Novasight in November 2012.

Founded in 2001 by Olivier de Puymorin, Arkadin provides conference-related solutions including audio, web, video conferencing and unified communications services.
The company serves close to 37,000 customers in 32 countries including France, Germany, the UK, the US, Australia, China, Singapore and Japan.
