
Creadev in €5m series-A for Ysance
French cloud-based data management service Ysance has held a €5m series-A, led by VC Creadev.
Proceeds from the series-A will be dedicated to Ysance's research and development efforts and to bolster its European sales team. The company, currently employing 110 professionals, is eyeing 50 additional hires in the coming months.
Creadev, acting as standalone institutional investor for the round, stated it was attracted to Ysance's cloud-based data services at a time when businesses seek to digitalise the data they generate.
According to unquote" data, the investment is the VC's second in a French technology company since April. That month saw the firm join forces with XAnge Private Equity during a €5m round for Parisian 3D printing factory Sculpteo.

Founded in 2005, Ysance develops cloud-based data management technologies. Its operations revolve around lead product Digital Data Factory DMP, with additional services in the marketing, business intelligence, e-commerce and big data domains.
With headquarters in Paris, the company employs 110 people and posted €11m in revenues in 2014. According to its figures, it has undertaken 275 projects for 120 clients since inception and has experienced a 25% year-on-year growth since 2010.
