
Axa PE takes 15% stake in Clip Industrie
Axa Private Equity has acquired a 15% stake in Clip Industrie, a French production management system software publisher and developer.
Clip Industrie will use the fresh funding to support its ongoing development.
Company
Founded in 1988, Clip Industrie develops and publishes Clipper, a computer-aided production management system for industrial SMEs. Its user base comprises manufacturers of specialist machines, machine operators in mass production, boilermakers, sheet-metal workers and mechanics.
Based in Aix-en-Provence, Clip Industrie employs 60 staff. It posted a turnover of around €4.9m in 2011.
