Newfund supports Izeos
Newfund has made a growth equity investment in Izeos, a French company offering a range of online services to medical professionals.
The founders of Izeos retain a majority shareholding following the round. The deal was intermediated by advisory firm Vertu Finance. Newfund invested via the Newfund 1 vehicle, a €72m venture fund that typically provides €500,000-6m of equity per deal. This is the fund's 15th transaction.
Izeos intends to use the funding to develop its offering, with a view to increase its turnover four-fold.
Company
Founded in 2000, Izeos publishes a range of websites focused on medical professions. It edits the infirmiers.com, emploisoignant,com, idecollection.com and mediformation.com websites – these offer a mix of information, e-learning and e-commerce services to medical professionals. Izeos currently generates a €2m turnover and employs around 25 staff.

Patrick Malka led the deal for Newfund. Antoine Huron and Grégoire Coutant are co-founders of Izeos.
