
Alven invests €1.5m in Wisembly
Alven Capital has made an investment of €1.5m in Wisembly, a French provider of mobile software for meetings and conference calls.
The capital injection marks Wisembly's first fundraise.
The funding will be used by the company to increase its workforce by employing 12 new staff, in preparation for its expansion across France and internationally. Wisembly will also use the capital to develop new products.
Company
Founded in 2010, Wisembly is headquartered in Paris and currently employs 20 staff. The company recorded turnover of €1.5m in 2013.
Wisembly provides a web- and mobile-based software-as-a-service designed to allow users to prepare and monitor meetings, conference calls, events, seminars and training classes. Customers include BPI Group, Google, Microsoft, Orange, Societe Generale and Deloitte.
People
Wisembly was founded by Romain David, Guillaume Potier and Andreï Vestemeanu. Jeremy Uzan is a partner at Alven.
