Interview (France) - Nov 2007

Vizille Capital Innovation (VCI), the venture arm of CIC Banque de Vizille, social economy investor Esfin Gestion and regional seed fund Rhône-Alpes Création (RHC) have invested €1.1m in management feedback specialist Interview. VCI contributed €1.1m, while Esfin provided €200,000 and RAC €150,000. Social economy early-stage funds IDES, SPOT and Rhône-Dauphiné Développement, which had previously invested in the company, also took part in this round. Parent company Alma, from which Interview span off in 2000, realised its entire stake on this occasion.

Company

Interview has developed software enabling internal feedback within corporate environments. The firm’s 170 clients include the likes of France Telecom and retailer Auchan. The platform can be used from many kinds of supports, including mobile phones. In 2006, the business generated sales of more than €1m and was profitable. Growth projects include making the product multilingual, in order to sell it in European countries.

Olivier Lévy represented CIC Banque de Vizille, while Gilles Peyrot worked on the deal for Esfin Gestion and Elisabeth Bou Antoun for Rhône Alpes Création. Alain Bouveret is Interview’s CEO.
