CDC closes Aurinvest Capital 2 on EUR16.2m

CDC Entreprises has overseen the closing of Aurinvest Capital 2 on EUR16.2m as part of the government investment scheme France Investissement.
Investors
CDC Entreprises invested EUR2m in the fund while the remainder was brought by around 50 business angels and SMA BTP. The fund follows on from Aurinvest which was created by business angels in 2001 and was invested in 13 companies.
Investments
Aurinvest Capital 2 will aim to invest between EUR500,000-2.5m in early-stage companies.
