
BlackFin Capital buys Compamut
BlackFin Capital Partners has bought a controlling stake in French insurance comparison business Compamut, according to reports.
The GP invested more than €1m in exchange for the stake, according to French publication Capital Finance. It notably bought out previous Compamut investors.
BlackFin is familiar with insurance comparison websites, having bought Italian player Chiarezza in April 2012 and France-based MisterAssur later in the year.
The financial services-focused investor raised €220m for its maiden fund in July 2011.
Company
Marseille-based Compamut was founded in 2008. It edits an insurance comparison website, mutuelle-conseil.com, which focuses on health insurance products.
Compamut is understood to have posted a €2m turnover last year.

Paul Mizrahi, Bruno Rostain and Daniel Cohen-Sabban worked on the deal for BlackFin.
