Iris Capital and Siparex invest €2.2m in V3D
Iris Capital and Siparex Proximité Innovation have invested €2.2m in French software developer Vision 360 Degrés (V3D).
The fresh funding will allow the business to develop its product line and to expand internationally.
Iris is currently investing from the OP Ventures family of funds, sponsored by French corporates Orange and Publicis Group.
V3D previously received a €1m investment from Siparex Venture and Rhône-Alpes Création in 2011. Siparex invested through Siparex Innovation 2010 and Siparex Innovation 2011, two FCPI venture funds.
Company
Founded in 2006, Lyon-based V3D is an editor of measurement software for smartphones. Its products enable network operators to extract real-time performance information directly from their customers' smartphones and 3G SIM cards. It allows operators to monitor and improve the quality of their network service and to gain in-depth knowledge of their customers' smartphone usage.
