Siparex, Sodero invest in DMVP
French small-cap investors Siparex and Sodero Gestion have invested €7.5m in DMVP, an online distance learning service for pharmacists.
Siparex deployed capital from its Xpansion 2 vehicle and its Nord Ouest Entrepreneurs 4 and Entrepreneurs 1 funds. The investor led the deal with a total contribution of €5.75m. Sodero contributed the remaining €1.75m.
DMVP's management will use the fresh funding to finance its growth strategy. It intends to keep developing its service in France and replicate its model in other countries. In addition, DMVP will look to launch a new application widening its target audience to doctors and nurses.
BCPE arranged a financing package as part of the transaction, which is understood to have been structured as an owner buyout.
