Northzone Ventures has hired two new partners: Gregers Kronborg in Denmark and Pär-Jörgen Pärsson in Sweden. Gregers Kronborg (40) worked as a management consultant, before, in 1995, he co-founded the Danish technology company Cocom A/S. In 1999, Cocom was sold to Cisco, and Gregers worked as a Cisco director until 2001. Gregers also acted as chairman of the DVB/DAVIC Interoperability Consortium. In 2001 Gregers became an angel investor and advisor for early stage Danish technology companies, and during the last two years Gregers has been active in building a network of business angels in Denmark. Pär-Jörgen Pärsson (39) previously worked for McKinsey & Co for five years and has been in the private equity since 1994, initially as an investment manager in Spira AB, and then as CEO of Fakeskog Delikatesser AB. In 1998 Pär-Jörgen was employed as CEO of the Swedish venture firm Cell Ventures, which in 2000 was sold to New Media Sparks. During the last two years, Pär-Jörgen has been acting as an independent technology investor through Konceptkapital AB focussing on early stage investments with IT and telecommunications.
