Startupfactory
Startupfactory, the early-stage Nordic venture capital firm focusing on investment in IT, telecom and datacom companies, has strengthened its team by appointing Pekka Salonja as partner. Salonja arrives from Nokia, where he has held various R&D and business management positions over the past 20 years. These positions include responsibility for Nokia’s data networking business in the 90’s and later, responsibility for all network server products for mobile data services. He transferred to Startupfactory from his position as vice president/general manager of Mobile Software and Nokia Mobile Phones. Salonja holds a Master of Science in Electronics from the Helsinki University of Technology.
