3i Finland has announced the appointment of Janne Mielck as investment director. Mielck, 35, has a strong track record, having worked for Sonera SmartTrust where he held the post of senior vice president of Corporate Development, following stints as senior vice president of ERP Solutions, Mobile operator Services and Strategic Alliances. He began his career at Kone Cranes Corporation before working for Telecom Finland and P Plus Communication before joining Sonera Hong Kong Ltd in 1997, where he was managing director. In 1998, he worked as director of Corporate Development in London before moving to Helsinki.
