
Air Liquide Ventures sets up in Stockholm
Air Liquide Ventures has announced the opening of its new office in Stockholm. With five investments currently in its portfolio, Air Liquide Ventures is currently seeking to expand its presence in England, Spain, the Benelux and Germany. Bertrand Girin, president of Air Liquide Ventures, has recruited two new investment managers for the Stockholm office: Fredrik Severin and Niclas Tordhag, both of whom are Swedish national with backgrounds in telecommunications. The Euro 40m Air Liquide Ventures fund, which is structured as an FCPR (Fonds Commun de Placement à Risque), is now being run by a team of seven, and there are plans to open a German office at the beginning of 2002.
