Finnish private equity shows promising signs

According to press reports, investment levels in Finland increased by 12% to (380m and Finnish private equity and venture capital firms raised (779m in 2002, almost double that raised in 2001. The majority of invested capital went to new portfolio companies, with (252mput into initial investments, representing 66% of the total invested.
