CapMan has appointed Morten Bro Nielsen as investment director in the firm's life science business. Bro Nielsen will be responsible for the team;s investments in the Danish medical technology sector as part of CapMan's recent expansion strategy. The appointment also strengthens the firm's focus on Denmark where it already has buyout and technology units. Bro Nielsen joins from diagnostics company Radiometer where, for the last two years, he was responsible for establishing and running the Radiometer Venture Fund, the corporate venture arm of Radiometer. He also has eight years' experience in life-science related companies and a broad international background, having worked in Japan, France, USA, Sweden and Denmark.
