Johan Winnerblad, a partner at Mannheimer Swartling since 1998, has announced that he is leaving the firm to join Vinge as a partner. Winnerblad's principal specialist areas are M&A and private equity and his sectoral specialism is in IT and telecommunications. His precise starting date at Vinge has yet to be decided, but it is expected that Winnerblad will join during the course of 2004. Winnerblad is widely regarded as one of Sweden's leading business lawyers. After graduating with an LLM from Stockholm University in 1990, he worked as in-house counsel at IBM Svenska AB before joining Mannheimer Swartling. He has been a member of the Swedish Bar Association since 1996.
