Lars Johansson has been appointed to head up Apax Partners' newly-opened Nordic office in Stockholm. Johansson joins Apax from IT Provider, where he was a senior partner. Previously he was vice president for corporate finance at Svenska Handelsbanken Markets. Prior to this he was president and founder of Provestor AB, an investment advisory company, vice president for corporate finance at Citibank (Sweden) and a management consultant with McKinsey & Co. Simon Lindfors has also joined Apax' Nordic operations to support Lars Johansson. Lindfors was formerly a partner at IT Provider where he was responsible for key later stage investments and a supporting partner in the company's fundraising activities. Previously, he was a director of corporate finance at Maizels, Westerberg & Co in London. Prior to this he was a co-founder of Fondex International, the first Swedish independent online mutual fund market, and a senior manager of corporate finance at Svenska Handelsbanken Markets.
