Foreign venture capital to Danish entrepreneurs
According to research published by science park and incubator Symbion, Danish entrepreneurs have improved their ability to obtain capital from foreign venture companies. Among the entrepreneur companies attached to Symbion, 13% have so far been able to get venture capital abroad, whereas 24% of the companies expect to obtain capital outside the country's borders in 2004. Symbion has no comparative figures from previous years, but Trine Winterø, managing director of Symbion Management, has indicated that their entrepreneurial companies are able to attract more foreign capital than before.
