Industri Kapital

Gerard De Geer has been appointed a director of operations at Industri Kapital. He joins the IK team from AT Kearney in Stockholm, where he, as vice president, has spent the last eight years building up its Nordic operations as well as being involved in a large number of international projects regarding strategy, M&A and operations. Prior to joining AT Kearney, Gerard De Geer spent 12 years in general management positions in the international process and manufacturing industry, working for Ovako, SKF Steel and Lesjöfors in Sweden, and Cameron Iron Works in Texas. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School as well as an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics. In his new role, De Geer will participate in most aspects of work during the post-acquisition phase in parallel with the investment teams, adding value mainly through exerting a high level of business control function and monitoring strategy work.

It has also been announced that Stefan Linder has been appointed a director of operations at Industri Kapital. Linder, who is based in Stockholm, joined Industri Kapital in 1996 and has since been working in the Swedish and Finnish investment area. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in investment banking for Morgan Stanley in London. He holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics, where he also participated in the exchange programme at Stern Business School at New York University.
