
No reprieve for venture capital exits
According to a survey conducted by M&A advisory firm Ionic Advisors, the market for venture capital backed companies is likely to remain slow for up to two years. The survey reveals that more than three-quarters of respondents believe that valuations would remain at the same level or below the 2002 level, and 87% considered that technology valuations would rise in 2004.
