Nordea set to separate equities and corporate finance divisions
Nordea Securities, the investment banking arm of the Nordea, has announced its intention to separate its equities and its corporate finance divisions, with a loss of 75 jobs. The separation comes as Nordea reported a 4% increase in group profits for the first quarter to EUR 364m and a 9% fall in assets under management to EUR 95bn in its fund management division.
