
New Chair for European Venture Capital Association
Edoardo Bugnone, managing partner of Argos Soditic, has been appointed chairman of EVCA for the year June 2001-2002, having been elected at the Annual Symposium in Rome. Bugnone founded the private equity division which is now Argos Soditic at SG Warburg-Soditic. EVCA has also elected a new board of directors and executive committee. This latter consists of: Max Burger-Calderon, chairman elect and chair of investor relations committee; Ari Tolpannen, past chairman; Piet Serrure, treasurer; Hervé Claquin, chair of professional standards and communications committee; and Max Römer, chair of conferences and training committee.
