
DTU Innovation raises DKr 85m for incubator
DTU Innovation the technology incubator set up in 1998 and backed by the Danish Ministry for Trade and Industry, the Research Centre at Hørsholm and the Danish Technological Institute, has raised DKr 85m for its incubation arm, DTU Invest. The capital has been raised from seven Danish-based corporates, each investing DKr 10m, while the remainder was provided by the Technical University of Denmark, the Danish Technological Institute and the Danish Science Park. DTU Invest is looking to invest in very early-stage companies, primarily in the areas of food and biotechnology, with 15-20 investments expected in total.
