Finnish fundraising doubled in 2002
According to statistics published by the Finnish Venture Capital Association, Finnish private equity firms raised EUR 779m in 2002, compared with EUR 407 in 2001. The country also saw an increase in its investment activity last year. The total amount increased by 12% on the previous year to EUR 380m and the number of investments grew from 449 to 471.
