Capital Z commits Euro 100m to new investment vehicle
Christer Gardell, CEO of Custos AB, and Lars Förberg, chief investment officer of Custos, have announced their plans to form an investment fund following their resignations from Custos, which take effect as of October 1. An investment company will be set up to manage the fund, which will be looking to acquire significant minority stakes, typically 10-20%, in undervalued public companies. To date, the vehicle has received a Euro 100m commitment from Capital Z Investments and is targeting Euro 500m in total.
