Merlin Biosciences establishes Finnish presence

UK-based life sciences investor Merlin Biosciences has opened an office in Helsinki. Merlin has made a number of investments in the Nordic region and the firm hopes that the opening of the new office will help consolidate its position in the Nordic market. Merlin's Finnish operations will be headed by Niilo Santasalo, a former senior investment banker with PCA Corporate Finance.
