During the financial year 1 July 2003 - 30 June 2004, Finnish law firm Hannes Snellman recorded a turnover of E29.3m, compared with E25.8m for the previous year. This represents a growth of 13.6%. The firm made a post-tax profit of E6.75m, compared with E4.56m for the same period the pervious year. Hannes Snellman focuses on corporate transactions, which constituted half the firm's turnover during the past fiscal year. Transactions include mergers, acquisitions and capital market transactions of various sizes. The firm has four key areas of practice: mergers & acquisitions, technology, finance & capital markets, and dispute resolution. 2004 has also been a success for Hannes Snellman by non-financial standards. All key practice groups have attracted experienced lawyers from both Finland and abroad, and the firm has combined its competition law and competition proceedings expertise in a practice group that is unique in Finland.
