Danish venture capital industry looking up
Following an extensive period of cut-backs and downsizing the Danish venture capital firms are beginning to make new investments once again. According to local press reports several venture firms are planning to increase their investment activity in 2003. 3i, for example, has indicated that having spent 2002 focusing on streamlining its portfolio, it is now ready to make new commitments. Other venture firms, including Danske Venture Partners, Olicom, TDC Innovation and Interner Ventures Scandinavia have also indicated similar activities.
