
Viventures releases limited partners from investments
Viventure Partners, the technology investment firm, has released its limited partners from EUR 138m of commitments to the fund. Following this move, the size of the fund has been reduced to EUR 550m. Viventures was set up in 1998 with backing from Vivendi Universal and to date has invested around 15% of the fund’s capital. According to press reports, the fund had originally intended to make investments in the region of EUR 20-25m, but in view of current market conditions the typical investment size is likely to be around EUR 15-20m.
