Private equity professorship donated to Helsinki University of Tehnology
A professorship in private equity is to be established at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Helsinki University of Technology with donated funds. The board of directors has accepted the foundation of the professorship for a five-year period, starting from spring 003. The donators are CapMan and its main owners in cooperation with the city of Espoo and OKO Venture Capital. The purpose of the professorship is to develop the prerequisites of Finnish entrepreneurship and private equity, to encourage the increase of entrepreneurial activity and to develop the ability to create internationally successful companies.
