Vinge
Swedish law firm Vinge has strengthened its private equity practice with the addition of Jan Byström. Over the last six years he has practised law in New York, where he primarily advised companies and private equity clients on private and public M&A transactions. He has advised both buyers and sellers on a large number of controlled auctions and has also represented equity investors on large value cross-border project finance and leasing transactions. Previously with Vinge from 1993 to 1998, Jan Byström rejoins the firm from the Wall Street practice of Davis Polk & Wardwell, where he has worked since 2000. From 1998 until 2000, Jan practised at the US law firm Hunton & Williams, also in New York.
