
CapMan
CapMan has announced the expansion of its buyout business unit in Sweden and Denmark with the appointment of a Danish senior advisor and three Swedish investment professionals. Peter Langkjaer has been appointed as senior advisor to the CapMan buyout business unit. Formerly Langkjaer was the chairman of the board of Danish consulting company Lisberg Management. He will be based in CapMan's Copenhagen office. The new appointments to CapMan's buyout business unit are Göran Barsby as investment director and Mats Gullbrandsson as investment manager. At the same time Rikard Albihn, who currently works as investment manager in CapMan's technology business unit, has transferred to the buyout business unit. All three will be based in CapMan's Stockholm office. Göran Barsby (51) worked previously for Ahrens Tillväxtkonsulter AB. He has held a variety of international CEO positions with food packaging companies Tetra Pak and Tetra Laval, media group Bonnier, food producer and marketer Procordia and technology company Toolex Alpha. Mats Gullbrandsson (36) has extensive experience within merger and acquisitions, corporate finance and management consulting. Prior to joining CapMan he worked for ABN AMRO in New York. Previously, Gullbrandsson worked for Alfred Berg and CARTA Corporate Advisors (now Booz Allen Hamilton) in Stockholm. Rikard Albihn (30) joined CapMan's Technology Business Unit as investment manager in January 2001. Albihn transferred to CapMan from the venture capital company Zone AB, which he co-founded. Previously Albihn has worked as financial analyst within IT/telecom at Handelsbanken Investment Banking and within corporate finance at Andersen Global Corporate Finance
