
ANI Printing Inks
Nordic Mezzanine has underwritten a EUR 33m mezzanine tranche in the EUR 170m recapitalisation of ANI Printing Inks, an investee company of Benelux private equity firm NeSBIC Buyout Fund. Netherlands-based bank NIB Capital Bank provided a EUR 136.8m senior facilities for the transaction. ANI Printing Inks is one of the leading producers of printing inks and global leader in the narrow web segment. The company is headquartered in Trelleborg, Sweden. Prior to the buyout in 2002, the company was owned by Akzo Nobel, the international chemical group. This transaction is one of the largest transactrions Nordic Mezzanine has completed, and is the second investment to be made from its latest fund, Nordic Mezzanine Fund II
