CapMan considering private equity real estate fund
CapMan is examining the possibility of establishing a Finnish private equity real estate fund, and is in the process of negotiating with institutional investors. Jukka Iivari from Corintium Oy is acting as advisor to CapMan. Indirect investments in real estate have grown strongly in recent years and there are approximately 350 unlisted European real estate funds in the current market. In the Nordic countries, corresponding real estate fund activities are as yet at an early stage. Some US and European private equity investors, similar in size to CapMan, have expanded their operations to include private equity real estate funds. The establishment of the real estate fund would be a significant business expansion and strategic step for CapMan.
