
CapMan
CapMan has made three appointments to its new Oslo office. Kai Jordahl has sbeen appointed senior partner. During the last five years he has worked as investment director, first at Industrifinans Forvaltning ASA, and following its acquisition by ABN AMRO, within the group Alfred Berg Industrifinans ASA. In both companies he was responsible for private equity investment activities in the Nordic countries. In prior years, Jordahl held various senior positions at McKinsey & Co, Norsk Hydro ASA and the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. Jordahl has solid expertise in developing business strategies, financing and increasing business efficiency as well as deep knowledge of Norway's industry. Kai Jordahl will be responsible for office operations at CapMan's Oslo office as well as buyout investment activities in Norway Erik Berger has been appointed to the position of investment director. Before joining CapMan, Berger was a partner at TeleVenture Management AS, where he was Investment Manager and CFO of Telenor Venture VC funds. Previously, he was responsible for the funds' investment activities and financial management. Berger held various positions in Computas Expert Systems AS, Schlumberger Technical Services Inc and the Royal Norwegian Navy prior to his transfer to the private equity investment business in 1994. Berger will be responsible for CapMan's technology investment activities in Norway. Hans Tindlund joins the Oslo office as investment manager. He has transferred to CapMan from investment bank H&Q Norden Fondsmeglerforretning ASA, where he was an Associate director of corporate finance in the technology sector. Previously, he held various positions at McKinsey & Co, UBS Warburg and Nera ASA.
