
Investor AB slows down on AB write-downs
Investor AB, the Swedish investment firm, wrote down EUR 68m on its private equity portfolio in the six months ending 30 June, as compared with a EUR 147m write-down in the same period last year. Investor’s total write-down for 2001 stood at just under EUR (300m. However, during the first half of this year the firm has posted profits of EUR 23m, approximately double the profit for the same period in 2001.
