Institutional update - Sampo sale goes through in record time
JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs have reportedly concluded the sale of Finnish insurance company Sampo for E477m. The deal is believed to have been sealed in 75 minutes. The two banks were joint bookrunners and advisors to the Finnish government, which sold a 10.7% stake, reducing its shareholding to 21.4%.
