Altor

Hugo Maurstad, director and head of the Norwegian office of McKinsey & Company, is joining Altor Equity Partners AB as a partner in March 2004. He joined McKinsey in Norway, in April 1991, working in the firm's Oslo and Chicago offices. His primary focus has been financial institutions, corporate finance and venture capital and private equity. Over the past years he has served clients in Scandinavia, Europe, and the United States, with an emphasis on corporate transformation programs, strategy, M&A, governance, and performance programs. Prior to joining McKinsey, Maurstad was the managing director of the Lefac Group, a finance company in Oslo, Norway where he worked from 1988 to 1991.
