Ãslandsbanki (ISB) is to open offices in Copenhagen this autumn, and in that regard, Nikolaj Galskjøt has been recruited as director of leveraged finance. Galskjøt has more than ten years experience in international structured finance banks, like Citibank and ABN AMRO. In addition, he has worked for small family businesses and start-ups. Erledur Magnusson, ISB's managing director for leveraged finance, said: 'His background and network will be immensely valuable in our efforts to expand into the Nordic area.' Following the opening of the new office, ISB will have representatives based in Iceland, the UK and Denmark.
