Cubera promotes Haukås and Nord to partner
Oslo-based secondaries investor Cubera Private Equity has promoted Merete Haukås and Johan Nord to the position of partner, shortly after the first and final closing of its €405m Cubera VIII fund.
Haukås joined Cubera in August 2012 as an investment director in the firm's Oslo office. Prior to that, she was a manager at EY, from 2008-2012. Haukås's employment history before joining EY includes working as an analyst at Innovation Norge and a role as equity research analyst at DnB Markets.
Nord joined Cubera as an investment director in the Stockholm office in February 2015. He held the positions of investment director and business controller at the Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund (AP6) in the seven years prior to joining Cubera. Nord's career also involved a stint at Deloitte, where he was involved in audit and consulting projects.
The promotions come a week after Cubera held a final close for its eighth secondaries fund on €405m.
